Our licensing covers all products where a design is provided by ARTISAIRE, or on behalf of the Artist in our Creative Community.

Products with imagery provided by our clients is not subject to the below licensing.

Personal Use

Personal use is when the products are not used for financial gain, or not used to promote a product/service.

Wax Seals can be used for:

Embellishing items for personal use
Projects that are shared on non-commercial social media

Attribution is not required for personal use. However, a shout out to ARTISAIRE and the artist is the best compliment you can give!

Wax Stamps can be used for:

Unlimited wax seals for personal use
Projects that are shared on a non-commercial social media

Commercial Use

Commercial use is anytime money, goods, or anything of value is exchanged as consideration for work.

Commercial Use requires a Wholesale account with ARTISAIRE.

Wax Seals can be used for/as:

Resale to consumers for personal use
An embellishment on an End Product for sale
An embellishment on packaging

Cannot be used for/as:

The basis of a trademark
A logo for brand identity

Attribution is required when:

Reselling on a website, or storefront
Shown in a publication, or on a product within a publication
Shown in a physical or digital advertisement
Posted on a Commercial Social Media account

Proper attribution requires credit to the artist as well as ARTISAIRE. Credit on social media requires tagging official accounts when possible.

Wax Stamps can be used for/as:

Resale to consumers for personal use
Making wax seals for display or promotional content (requires attribution)

Cannot be used for/as:

Making wax seals for resale
Selling to a business for commercial use

Shown in an advertisement in either a digital or physical medium
Posted on a Commercial Social Media account

What are licensed products?
Wax Seals or Wax Stamps that contain artwork made/provided by ARTISAIRE.

Can I buy your licensed Wax Stamps and make Wax Seals for sale?
No. You may not sell wax seals made with our licensed Wax Stamps. This includes making marbled wax seals or wax seals with botanical mix-ins.

Can I make and sell wax seals with my own designs?
Absolutely!

How do you recommend I use licensed Wax Stamps for commercial use?
Our Licensed Wax Stamps may be resold to customers so the customer may make Wax Seals for personal use. You may not make a Wax Seal with a Licensed Wax Stamp when there is an exchange of money, goods, or other compensation for the work.

For commercial uses where it is not possible to use pre-made Wax Seals, we recommend using a Custom Wax Stamp made with your artwork or artwork you are licensed to use.

Can I sell licensed products to other businesses?
No. Each business needs to be individually licensed to sell our products. With a Wholesle account you may only sell licensed products to the end consumer where there is no commercial use.

Can I create social media content to promote my business using your licensed products?
If you are promoting a product or service with our licensed products we require you to have an active Wholesale account, as well as provide attribution to ARTISAIRE and the Artist in the content you've created.
